Does anyone have a good camera for sale?
I'm going to be a freshman in college in the fall. I'm going to major in photography. Unfortunatly my camera is broken. I'm looking for a nikon, a canon, or a sony. That's in good condition for a good price, because I'm on a budget.
Please comment with the price and your email.

Nikon cool pix L120
is good for a starter cam for pics and video
and its eazy to use, now you don't need a canon rebel thats something you have to
work your way up too… Many say you have to have that cam to take real photos not true
the Nikon is a step lower and the price runs about 199 but at times its on sale for 149
the canon rebel can run you from any were from 699 to 1299

and budget. I know what you mean i was trying to find a replacement cam
and saw the Nikon, now it will not take high speed pics but there's a setting got it
it will take about 5 to 8 photos and you can pic one out of them or them all
over all the photos are nice and the record button you touch it to start and when your done
hit rec again to stop it, its a nice and fast cam. And it has a 21 x lens nice and wide and many settings and it has macro for taking flowers and close ups and you can blar out something in the back ground, and pet pic it takes there photo with no sound of the click of the cam
You're majoring in photography but have a budget? Don't skimp out on buying quality gear.

That said, look on craigslist for a good used Nikon or Canon 35 mm SLR with lens. The cost from $40-$150.
Most photography programs start the students out using film. This does a few things.
It shows how important it is to get as near perfect exposure as possible and with only 36 exposures per roll, it teaches shot discipline. Since you can't "peek" at the film after each shot, you will also learn to rely on your cameras light meter.
If, after talking to your instructors, you find that you do need a digital SLR, you will want to find a good used dSLR, fully adjustable camera. These too can be found on craigslist, but closer to $300 to $450 with lens
Wait a little bit to get one. If your photography program is any good at all they will have cameras for you to use for class. Get a camera once you learn the ins and outs of how to use it.
