Canon Digital Camera's?

Hey so I want to buy a canon camera or nikon that's affordable so i can take pictures throughout my high schools years. I've been looking but i can't seem to find a good one. I want it to have good video, clear images, and focus because i'll be whipping it out to take random photo's alot. Opinions?

Any Canon or Nikon you buy in the shops today is good. End of story. I'm a Canon man so for your purposes I'd recommend Canon 550D or 600D, although I don't know what your budget is (you didn't say what 'affordable' means to you).

I have 6 canon camera's. All good. I asked a professional photographer to buy me in Japan, cause its really cheap with really good quality

Best would be to go and see for yourself which cameras from Canon and Nikon you like. All the cameras they make are pretty decent.

If you can spend an extra $100 somehow, the Canon S95 would be the best choice. It has great quality compared to all other point and shoot cameras (when used correctly)

The best is canon eos 550 D or EOS rebel T2i. This is the gr8 camera as per your requirement.
