Can i use the cannon 430 ez speedlite with a nikon?

Cannons are field weapons that have nothing to do with photography.

Canon and Nikon make electronic flash units which are dedicated to those specific cameras and any on-board control of them via the hot shoe on the camera.
Yes, the 430 EZ will fit the hot shoe of a Nikon, but it will have to be used in the manual mode.

It is not recommended especially with voltage concerns but you can try it with the flash in Auto mode and the camera in manual mode, 1/125s. Check the back of the flash on what aperture size to use. Don't blame me if your flash and camera blows up.
Here's my camera and flash.

I know Nikon users can be irritating, but blowing them up with field weapons is a bit extreme.
