Can I use a nikon lens on my regular digital camera?
Okay so I just got a sony cybershot from my aunt and i was wondering can i put like a nikon lens on it? I just wanna know if i can before i buy one.
If you just looked at the Cybershot, you would notice two things
1) the lens on it can't be removed, so using an interchangeable lens is out of the question.
2) Nikkor lenses are designed for use on a Nikon dSLR and can't fit even on a Sony dSLR
You need to visit a proper camera shop and see all this for yourself.
Unfortunately, you can't.
The Sony Cybershot is not designed for interchangeable lenses. And if it were, it would not fit a Nikon lens.
Nikon lenses go on Nikon interchangeable-lens cameras, and so on.
No. The Sony Cybershot has a permanently attached lens plus a Nikon lens is only usable on a Nikon DSLR.
No.
Unless you use a lot of duct tape.
No. Not Nikon, not Canon, not Sony. Not etc. That sort of camera does not take additional lenses.
No you can't.
