Body only or with kit lens?
If I have a nikon 50mm 1.8g prime and a sigma 17-50mm f2.8, should I get a nikon 7100/7200 with kit lens (if yes, 18-140mm or 18-105mm?) or save $200 and get the body only?
I would go with the body only. The money saved would be better off to put towards better glass or some other gear. Only my opinion. Now, realize this. The D7100 and D7200 are nowhere near being identical cameras. If you plan to shoot sports or wildlife, the D7200 is the better choice. Otherwise, the D7100 is cheaper and better suited for more general purpose use. Again, only my opinion.
The 17-50mm Sigma lens you have will work well for many types of shooting situations.
The 18-105 is a lackluster lens and not well suited for the resolution of the D7000 series bodies. I would avoid this lens.
The 18-140 lens is sharp and a good choice for a vacation lens (general purpose lens that's not too big). For an additional $200, this is a good deal for the 18-140 lens. The 18-140 has lots of distortion, but that's expected for a wide range zoom. Personally, this is my main lens as it works well for the type of shooting I do which involves travel in to the bush. If you need this sort of lens, I would get it as it's inexpensive with the package deal. If you don't want this sort of lens, get the body only.
Body only.
If you see yourself needing to use telephoto, use the change to buy a 70-300mm lens.
