Best DSLR Camera for a Beginner around 1300$?
So i've decided i want to get a DSLR camera for to start getting into photography and for when i travel around europe i've decided i want to spend around 1300$ total for the camera and lens and was wondering as too what type of camera and lenses would be best recommended for all types of photos(Castles, Citys, Country side, "Portrait" type photos, etc).

Whether you spend $450 or $45,000 on a camera, the learning curve is the same. You will still have to be willing to learn the fundamentals of photography, lighting and composition before you can expect to take brilliant photos each time you press the shutter release.

With this camera and lens, you will be able to learn those fundamentals and later as you build your budget for more lenses, be able to purchase the less expensive Nikkor AF lenses and any of the manual focus Nikkor AI lenses. Entry level Nikon cameras like the D3xxx and D5xxx camera's need to use the Nikkor AF-S and AF-P lenses (although these lenses do auto-focus faster than the older Nikkor AF lenses) There's no dSLR for the beginner. They're all complicated if you don't know photography. Avoid the cheapest ones though as they're the hardest to use.

My favorite in this group is the Nikon D7200. I have its older brother, the D7100, so I can endorse it without reservation. I just looked and dpreview agrees with me, giving the Panasonic G85 a slightly higher rating because of the 4K video capability. 1
