Best $500-750 dslr for me?
I'm looking for either a canon or nikon between $500-750. Are there any upcoming dslr cameras? I'm not getting it til
next june so i've got time.
There will be upcoming DSLR's between now and then. From what is projected they aren't going to be low end DSLR's so looking at the current lineup is just fine.
Your budget is limiting you a bit. I'd look to the D5100 or the T3i. If the T3i is pushing budget the T2i is the same sensor without the articulating screen and the wireless transmitter.
Although both the Canon & Nikon are great cameras, and I have been a life long Canon user, I found the current crop of Pentax DSLR's more to my liking when I decided to get into digital (DSLR's) cameras. The reason was the cleaner viewfinder and the movable focusing frame. I recently have seen this camera and a 50-200mm lens for the price of $700.00. And I have not regretted my decision.
There are, but mostly in the $4000+ level. The DSLRs below $750 we have now are great.
Nikon D3100, Canon EOS T2i and Pentax K-r would be the best. However, till June, something at that price may get announced so keep your eyes open and follow the sites.
