Which DSLR camera is nice, better, durable and reliable?

Which is better? Nikon? Canon?

This has been asked 7 days a week for years… Nikon is not better than Canon, and Canon isn't better than Nikon.
Decide how much you want to spend. Then go to a store and look at the cameras in your price range. Hold them in your hand(s)… And then pick the one that feels right to you.

The first thing you have to learn is that there are more than two manufacturers, and only idiots and advertising executives think there's a real difference.

When you're comparing Canon and Nikon, and apple to apple models there's no better. Actually the better comes in when you have the skills to properly operate a dslr and its lens.

All the Canon and Nikon models are reliable. But you've got to understand something. None of these cameras are tough. They have lots of small parts in them, some of them moving parts and a drop or other such blow will kill any camera.

That's why when you watch any professional at work out doors, before the camera comes out of the well cushioned bag the neck strap is mounted around that person's neck. They never walk around with the neck strap hanging, never. The gear is way too expensive and to sensitive to take chances with. Durable, yes under proper use of course, rated to a shutter count of 100, 000 but not durable as in water or gravity.

All are good. Any brand or model will do. Your final selection will depend mostly on brand loyalty or if none yet, savvy salesmanship and of course your budget.
