Where are the videos on my camera?

I have a Nikon digital camera and I'm trying to transfer everything on it to my computer. The problem is, I'm only seeing the pictures, not the videos. I have no problem downloading the pictures, but the videos aren't showing up on the computer. I can see the videos from the camera itself, but not when I hook the camera up to the pc. What am I doing wrong?

Mostly you are confused between videos and photos. If you are sure you have captured the videos and seen in the camera then the problem is either you don't have enough space in your pc hard drive to copy the videos or you are confused with photos and videos even after coping them to your pc. Do one thing click the file view option of your pc from thumbnails to details and check for the file size and click the icon which shows more file size, hopefully your videos will be played.

I would recommend what so many of us here do, buy an external usb card reader. I've been using readers for a decade or so. No cable, no hassle, everything gets uploaded to one file.

You can use a usb card reader, open it as a drive and then search the folders for your video. Then copy/paste from your card reader to your videos folder (you might have to make one).
