I want to invest in an amazing lense for my camera. I have a Nikon and I was doing some research and the canon EF 24-105mm 1:4 L for the Canon DSLR cameras is an amazing lense. So I was wondering if there was a lense for the Nikon DSLR cameras that is equivalent or oven better than the canon lenses? Does anyone know? Or if you don't, do you recommend any?

A simple Google search of Nikon's web site finds a nice 24-120mm f4 VR lens that is the counterpart of the Canon lens. Google search is an amazing thing. Try it sometime.

If you have a DX body, Nikon's closest equivalent would be the 16-85mm f3.5-5.6 AF-S VR, which has the angular field of a 24-127.5mm lens on a full frame body.
Or maybe the Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4.0 HSM OS DC, which has the equivalent angular field of a 25.5-105mm on a full frame.

Avoid Nikon's 24-120 - it's a dog of lens.
Nikon's 17-55 is the best option at a similar focal length - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/...rtclk=sort
