What Binoculars are to good to see far?
10X50? Action zoom Nikons are good?
What's a better deal? I know they go for $200…
I have a cheap pair I received for Christmas one year. They cost around $15 or $20 (from WalMart, I think). With them I can see the craters on the moon. Is that far enough for you? They work well for squirrel hunting, deer hunting, turkey hunting and bird watching. They are light-weight, small and camouflaged with a rubberized case; I can carry them afield all day without them getting in the way and if they get lost or broken I can replace them quite inexpensively. I choose to spend my money on guns and glass for them rather than something to scan an area that is usually less than 250 yards away.
Shoot straight and stay safe.
I have my Tasco bought them years ago I'm sure for less then 50 bucks. Shop around a while
How far are you wanting to see? Most will let you look at the moon. That is somewhere around 250, 000 miles.
Remember really high magnification optics are very hard to hold steady.
10x50 Nikons are good… I also have a Wetzlar pair of 20x50's that also feature a tripod mount for really steady viewing.
