So I have a Nikon FG Film Camera and I'm looking for a fish eye lens for it! Does anyone know what kind of lens would be good/where i could get one?

It's great you're enthusiastic about this cool old film camera and are looking to expand its capabilities. I want to warn you though, extreme wide angle lenses for interchangeable lens cameras are expensive!

Also, be sure to avoid the temptation of buying vintage camera gear (buying a new manual focus extreme wide would be very costly and is unnecessary for an FG) from non-camera shops like eBay and Craigslist. While you might find something cheaper, it will have little or no warranty and is likely to have functional issues that you might not notice on purchase. I recommend KEH.com if you don't have a local used camera shop.

Here are a list of Nikon prime lenses, starting with 15mm. In real photogaphy, one can't merely call a lens "fisheye" as it is popular among amateurs, one must know about particular focal lengths and their degree of barrel distortion (the proper name for the fisheye effect). 15mm would certainly be considered a fisheye but I sort of doubt you want to spend $850 on a lens.

Here is a list of off brand lenses that will fit a Nikon FG. The Vivitar 20mm 3.8 might be more realistic though it is not an extreme wide angle, it will feature plenty of barrel distortion to get you started on learning to use these kind of lenses and is much much cheaper!:

A true fisheye would be something like a 10mm but these are pretty rare/exotic in manual focus lenses from around the period your FG was being made. A new Sigma 10mm 2.8 is available new but maybe you could find a used copy of it and knock a couple hundred bucks off the price:

I hope this helps!
