Nikon D5200 Price Drop?

So I have decided to get the new Nikon D5200. I know it just came out in the USA, but when do you think the price will drop, and is it worth the wait?

When the D5300 comes out - it's not worth holding your breath.

Anyway, the Pentax K-30's better.

It'll probably drop around the end of this year or the beginning of next, when the D5300 comes out.

I would not expect the price to drop until it is replaced, which is usually on a 3yr cycle for DSLRs; 2yrs for some entry level DSLRs.

At any rate, don't expect to see a price drop anytime soon.

Is it worth the wait? Only you can answer that, but in the mean time, you will be denying yourself the use of the camera as well as learning how to use a DSLR.

The price will drop when its successor comes out maybe after 2 or 3 years. When the D5300 comes out, will you wait for the D5400? It never is worthy to wait for the next one. Think of all the photo shooting opportunities you'll miss.

Just few days ago Nikon D5200 announced by Nikon USA, So don't expect a big price drop in next 3 to 4 months.
