Need to find a nikon 50-300m lens?

I want to get this lens for my other half for Christmas, I gather nikkor is the make I want from research, but i'm camera illiterate and can't find it anywhere! Please can someone help me! I want it to be a surprise so asking him for help is kind of out of the question! I'm in the UK!

It does depend on which nikon he has but heres one which is majorly likely to fit his Nikon:

It will be very hard to find a 50-300, not sure they are even made, zoom lens are usually 18-55mm then 55-200mm then 70-300mm etc. Make sure you get a VR and a nikons own, other companys can do quite good lens but they won't beat Nikons own glass.
