Japan a rich industrialized country thanks to America?

During WW2 Japan was a very ultra nationalistic country that seeked expansion into Asia. Japanese wanted to conquer China and enslave its 800 million people. Kinda like how the Germans wanted to conquer Russia and enslave its people. But anyways after the US dropped the A-Bomb on Japan to save the world from their evil govt the Americans also helped to rebuilt the country and helped to make it a very industrialized capitalist country. Look at Japan now! They have electronic companies like Sony, Shorp, Toshiba, Canon, Nikon etc. They also have one of the largest auto industry in the world with companies like Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Mitsubishi etc. All thanks to US.

So shouldn't the Japanese be our allies and thank us? Why are they so anti american?

Since when have the Japanese not been US Allies? They thank us by doing business with our country and being an ally.

They became rich, thanks to their own efforts. W. Edwards Deming was brought in by General MacArthur to help get things started. Japanese industrialists listened to him, applied his methods, and as a result prospered.

Not really, Japan industrialized in the 19th century to escape the fate China had suffered at the hands of the British during the Opium Wars. I suppose post-WW2 Western values have helped Japan but in truth they'd already adopted many before then and were about as wealthy.

The Japanese have worked for what they have. Did the US and others give them major assistance generations ago? Yes. Then the Japanese turned themselves into a major economic player in the world. BTW, Japan is a US ally.

Japan was an industrial country long before the War - that's why they had such a huge military and good engineering.

I don't think they are anti-the US. They will be annoyed when the US citizens say "the A-bomb is greatest invention in the human history" or such kinds of nonsense.

The first recovery is made by the US, or the Allied nations I should say, so they should be and they are thankful to those nations, I bet. However, Japan payed back the money, and they are now hosting the US armies, mind you, the housing costs and electricity bills are on Japan. That is why japanese arms expenditures comes to the third of the world when they has only modest self guarding forces. Therefore, there are some things that we should be thankful to them, you know.

Also, J didn't want land or people back in the WWII; they just wanted resources like oils, iron, and copper, which were cut off because they were friendly to Germany. Enslave? Building colleges and schools and refurbishing infrastructures for the people there sound enslaving to you? Becoming a different country's nations, willingly or non-willingly, doesn't necessarily make those nations slaves. If you know general history, you know what I mean.

So, are you saying you will be grateful when your family members were killed by a person and the person help to rebuild your family? I think it would greatly depend on what kind person you are, and reading of your sentences, I don't think you are such a person, yourself.

Are you saying it because of PSY, the asian singer group? They are not Japanese, you know…
