Which is better? Cybershot HX20V? Or Nikon d3000?

The D3000 is a cropped-sensor DSLR, reduced in price because it's been discontinued (Nikon now make the D3200, although the D3100 is still in production).

If you're serious about photography, it's a superb starter camera, but the zoom is only equivalent to around 3x (18-55mm) - that's why lenses are interchangeable.

Not even close, the Nikon.
