I would say a canon rebel, or that nikon model. It mostly about your lenses however for different looks… Its all about the glass!

Any and all DSLRs are good. Those priced more cheaply are called entry level DSLRs. The d3200 is an entry level model. All the entry level models are good. The brand is irrelevant. Nobody makes bad DSLRs.

Here's a more complete list of current entry level models: http://www.dpreview.com/...CompactSLR

You might want to consider looking at cameras that come as bodies only so that you can choose a better lens than the cheap-O 18-55 kit lens.
Nikon's D5200, Canon's SL1, and Pentax K50 are just a few of cameras that are sold as bodies only.
The D5200 has an articulated screen as opposed to the D3200's fixed screen. When you photograph cars, you'll be constantly shooting at low angles, so having an articulated screen is incredibly useful.

Here's a side-by-side comparison: http://www.dpreview.com/...pentax_k50
