Nikon d300 battery issue?

I have a Nikon D300. Lately the camera keeps showing that the battery is dead. If i turn off the power and turn it on again it shows full battery… Does this with multiple batteries so I know its the camera. So it will take few shots after restarting then show dead battery again. Any ideas?

I have been using the Nikon Li-ion batteries that came with my D200 with my D300 and they still perform as well as they did when new.

Make sure that you do not leave the batteries fully discharged while you have your camera repaired since that is the one thing that will kill Li-ion batteries or at a minimum reduce their performance substaintially
