A good, beginners DSLR… Just came from a bridge camera
I would like a good enough DSLR camera around 300 euro. Is the Nikon D3000 good
Thanks
Sorry if any wrong spelling!
( I came from a Fujifilm s2950… Something better than that )

The D3000 is a fine camera, but not just for beginners.

It has some advanced white balance features that at one time were only found on the professional Nikon dSLR's (D300 and D3 series)

Here are some links that will help you learn how to use your camera to take brilliant photos

And for composition of your images

Its a good camera if you intend to read the handbook to learn about what it can do

Don't forget lenses and their co$t! Buying the DSLR is only the beginning. If you wanted to move up from th Fuji Finepix S2950, I would recommend the Canon Powershots like the SX40 IS or SX50 IS. These are also bridge cameras. But if the entry level price of a DSLR has you running for cover then cost of extra lenses needed will really send you into orbit! Check out the WHOLE set up on line at Canon's web site and retailers in your area that might sell a bit below retail price.

The Nikon D3000 is long in the tooth by this point and uses an older style CCD image sensor. I would say avoid it because you can buy the much better Nikon D3100 or Canon Rebel T3 for good price. Both would be more than suitable and quite an upgrade from the Fujifilm
