It won't autofocus with the D3200.

Your D3200 needs Nikkor AF-S lenses if you wish to use the auto-focus.

You saved about $650 by buying the $450 D3200 (with 18-55 mm lens) instead of the $1,100 D7200 (no lens). The D7200 can use all the Nikkor AF and AF-S lenses.

There's a small price to pay for that choice, but considering that the Nikkor AF-S lenses focus faster than the older (less expensive) AF lenses, you may as well start building your system around AF-S lenses

It will work, but it will not autofocus. To autofocus, you must get a higher end body (D7000, D750, D800 etc) OR get the AF-S version (50mm f1.8 AF-S).

It will mount and it will work but you will not be able to autofocus with it. For your camera, you need a Nikon lens with the AF-S or AF-I spec. If from a third-party brand, make sure the lens has an internal focusing motor so that you will be able to autofocus with it.

It fits all cameras with a Nikon F-Bayonet mount.

Hi
yes, but You will not get a good result, because of the absence of built in autofocus motor in Nikon AF lenses and Nikon D3200 body.
More information: The best lenses for Nikon D3200, are lenses that contain built in autofocus motor, Nikon call them AF-S (not AF), and they contain G in their names, not D, so be sure to buy a DX AF-S Nikon lenses for your D3200.
Also wherever you put the built in autofocus motor (lens or camera body), it become expansive, so that's why you see that Nikon 50m AF 1.8D (no motor) is less expansive than Nikon 50mm AF-S 1.8G, and the reason why Nikon AF lenses contain no inbuilt motor, is because they are made for the expansive full frame bodies that contain inside them built in autofocus motor.
Conclusion: Expansive DSLR body => cheap lenses and vice versa
