How to use nikon viewnx2 and help uploading to iPhoto?

I've downloaded the program that came with my d3200 and I'm not completely understand in it. There's not a how to use. Any help would be great. Also since I've downloaded the viewnx2 my photos won't upload to my iPhoto?

If you are transferring the photos directly into the Nikon software, of course iPhoto is not going to access them. It can't "dig" into other programs for photo access.

Transfer the photos from your memory card directly into a folder on your computer. Then you open iPhoto and IMPORT the photos from that folder.

You would also be able to import the photos into the Nikon software if you wanted.

It is always better to transfer the photos from the memory card to a folder on your computer rather than directly into a software program.
