How to set a white photography background by myself?

Hi. Do you know any ways to set a white background instead of buying one in a way thats it will be suitable for an outdoor shooting. Also id like to do a family photoshoot.what's the recommended settings? Its gonna be outdoors where there's a lot of sunshine by the way. I have nikon d3100

I'm not so sure using a white background is a good idea for you if you're not well versed in photography. You will have exposure issues.
