Amazon often has used cameras in stock. Cost, well that depends as David wrote about, on shutter count, actually condition, etc.

You'd be much better off buying refurbished, if it's been refurbished by Nikon. You might also try to get a shutter count on what ever you buy. Shutter count is about as important as millage on a used car.
