So i have the Nikon D3200 which records 1080hd video and so does the cannon t4i so why is everyone saying Cannon's better? Is there some sort of compression or something? Ok here is a sample video I made with a bunch of clips from my D3200

Billy, is that you wearing the Relax T? You have an excellent eye for video kiddo… I'm impressed and that takes quite a bit. Not bragging, don't misunderstand, but I did a career in broadcast television news / sports photography and I like your eye - very nice.

I think it was you I answered earlier about this same question. If so I sent a sample of the video I'm getting with my t1i. I notice a vast difference in the color, clarity and over all look of the Canon video compared to what you're getting with the 3200. Did you compare the two? If not here's that link again.
This is what I'm getting from my Canon 500D.

When you play the 3200 video against the above 500D video, judging only by what I saw in your link, I think you'll see why people are saying Canon has better video. The colors are brighter, the overall look is crisper and the general shots are sharper.

Good luck kiddo. I don't know what your intentions are for a career but think about professional
videography. As I said, you've got an eye for it.

If you'd care to I'd love to see more of your work. Email me here and send links if you have them.
