Do 15-55 lens be good for traveling in London?

I'm going to travel in London soon, and I'll buy there my first DSLR camera.
I've decided to buy the Nikon D3100 with the basic lens - 15-55.In London I'll be taking photos of everything… Museums, the London Eye, views and other attractions. I'll be taking photos in small rooms, such as museums, and big places - such as some views.
Will 15-55 lens be good for taking this kind of London's photos?
I don't really know how the cameras world works like, so please help me!
Thanks!
Added (1). I'm sorry, you're right! I was talking about the 18-55.

Actually I think it's the 18-55 and yes, it will be fine.

Your basic lens is surely 18 to 55mm. (not 15). That lens will cover much of what you want to do in London. You might like to think of a tele zoom also, something like 55mm to 200mm or 70mm to 300mm.
