Nikon D80 Compatible with this Nikkor 50mm?

I have a Nikon D80 and I need a cheap Macro Lens for product / close up mouth shots.
I was looking into a 50mm seeing as there only $120
I'm trying to make sure the lens will work with the camera body.
I personally use Canon and mine is a 58mm thread but I'm not sure how Nikon tells you.
The 50mm lens is a 52mm thread but I'm not sure how big the thread is in the D80.
Its a work camera that I haven't been able to get my hands on till later today and I need to order the lens this morning.

Here is the lens I'm looking at.

Thank you

Added (1). The ad for the lens says "Note! AF not supported by D40 and D60, D3100, D3000, D5000 cameras" I don't see the D80 in that list so am I okay?

The filter thread has nothing to do with if it can mount on your D80

pretty much all Nikon lenses will fit all Nikon DSLR cameras. The filter thread is what you need to look at when buying filters for the lens.

as for the lens fitting, it will fit, and work 100% with the D80

it is, however, not a macro lens. It is a great lens for portraits. If you want macro, look at the 60mm or 105mm macro

Your camera will autofocus this lens, but at the Dr.said, the 50mm is not a macro lens.
