Nikon D70 self timer?

How do I turn on the timer on my Nikon D70? I'm really bad with cameras so details please!

On back of the camera top left the there's a button he looks like a series of rectangles next to BKT button press and hold while turning the main command dial (one in the back) until the clock symbol appears in the LCD screen to set the length of time of the timer is in the menu.

So why haven't you picked up and started reading the owners manual? If you don't have the owners manual than you can look up the PDF owners manual

Yet another lazy person who hasn't grasped the concept of RTFOM

I have a manual and have referenced it, but I want a one touch function. It is difficult to hold a switch, turn a knob, while looking at my display, on a tripod over my head. Try to be helpful
