I saw red ants coming out from all crevices in dslr camera Nikon D5100. Please suggest any home based solutions if there are.

I doubt they are ants. They are more probably mites. Are they brilliant scarlet red? If so they are mites.
Don't use any chemicals or you will make a bad situation worse.

First - take off the lens! You do not want them inside the lens. I had a lens infested with white mites and ended up scrapping it because it was cheaper to replace than get it cleaned.
Take out the battery.
Get some decent sized 100g silica gel bags like this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/...1461008048
Dry the bags in a warm oven for 30 minutes
Seal the camera in a plastic bag with a couple of the silica gel bags.
Keep it sealed like that for 36-48hrs to be sure all the moisture has been absorbed by the silica gel.
Be sure the bag is air tight. Don't open the bag!
Then - put the whole lot in the freezer! Leave it for at least a week.
That will kill the mites but if they have laid any eggs be prepared for a repeat!

You must have spilled something on your camera to attract the ants.

Standard ant poison would be my first choice

Keep it in sunlight. I guarantee it helps.

Get a piece of masking tape and pen then in huge bold letters, label your camera SALT.

You can bait them with sugar but they might still go back in. You can put borax or something in the sugar but they might die inside the camera. Your best solution is to have the camera and lens serviced. Those pesky ants would have probably introduced fungi all over the glass components already and they all need an acid wash.

To get rid of those tiny red ants that are inside the camera, you need to use non-toxic standard glue.
