3 lenses for a Nikon D90?
What should be the best choice for a (1) Macro lens, (2) Inbetween lens and (3) zoom lens?
I use the Nikkor 18-200 95% of the time.
It depends on what kind of photography/videography you are doing. If you want that really close indepth shot, get a Macro Lens. I personally love low aperture with my shots. Zoom lenses are nice and versatile, but it has too much of an aperture differential to maintain good lighting.
Decide on what you want to focus on and work from there. I like the VR Lenses and the lens has to be ED for my taste.
If you are an amateur photographer, start off with a Zoom Lens and maybe even a Macro lens to get used to shooting and controlling your settings. Down the line, you are going to find that feel that you like and learn which lenses you will want.
For macro photography: AF-S DX Micro Nikkor 85mm f3.5G ED VR
In between lens: AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 17-55mm f2.8G IF-ED
Zoom lens: AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f4G ED VR
In my opinion those 3 lenses will give you a versatile kit.
Although cheaper, I'm not a fan of variable aperture zoom lenses. You'll find that a constant aperture zoom is better constructed and gives better results.
