Would you rather have a canon rebel t3 or a nikon 40d?

Which one would you want?

That's kind of a loaded question. Being a Canon loyalist I'd, of course, by the t3. Those who own
and really like Nikon would by the 40D… You're get a mixed bag of answers I'm sure. In this case I'd recommend the t3 because of the newer technology.

The D40 from nikon is over 5 years old. The camera that competes with the t3 is the d3100

The newest version of the D40 is called the D3100. The D40 is ancient. The T3 and D3100 are both good cameras.

I'd have a Pentax.

Canon. Without a second thought.

Like everyone said the D40 been replaced by D3100 which is going to be replace by D3200 in April.
