Will this lens work with my cameras? (sigma, nikon)?
I plan to purchase a 24 f2.8 Sigma Macro Super Wide II lens for my Nikon Fg-20 (35mm), but I was wondering if this lens would also work my Nikon dslr? (or with an adaptor)
If the lens is MF, it will fit a Nikon DSLR, but you will lose AF and you may lose metering.
It would probably autofocus with a D7000 that has a built in autofocus drive. It would not autofocus with a D3100, D3200, or D5100.
A good sample of this lens can have very good sharpness. There's a little barrel distortion. The coatings are not the greatest, and under some conditions there will be more lens flare and ghosting than newer lenses.
On a DSLR turn the aperture ring to f22, which is marked in orange. That should enable it to be controlled electronically from the camera.
