Wife used Nikon D5300 in direct sunlight using live view for approx 10 minutes. Sensor looks good and camera shoots fine. Possible damage?

Recent DSLR's are engineered with thermo-shutdown protection that would power down the camera prior to any damage. Your camera is fine

Try shooting under the shade. If everything seems okay then no problem.

If it doesn't seem to have any problems now, it is OK.
If any damage occurs, you will know immediately.
