Will a Nikon BS-1 Hot Shoe cover fit in a Canon T3i?

I don't know anybody who keeps the cover for their hotshoe; nor do I know anyone who ever had anything bad occur because they left it off. If you really need one, you can get them from Canon spares.

I don't understand the first answer. Hot shoes on whatever make of camera are standard and the cover for one will fit any other model. The flash guns fitted into the hotshoes are not interchangeable,. However.

If you mean that little piece of plastic that slides into the hot-shoe, it should fit as that is standard size for a hot-shoe.
