Why the price of Nikon 70-300mm is much greater than 55-300mm?

I just visited the lens shop and notice that the 70-300mm price is >>> 55-300mm. I didn't understand why!
I want to a 300mm loom lens. Please suggest me!

Did you ask the sales person?
Here are the two lenses and you can compare them head to head.

As you can see, the 70-300 mm lens is much bigger because it has to cover a full FX sensor and it is of a design that focuses internally. The other lens is an entry level lens designed to be affordable for beginners.
