Why my camera started taking videos of 5 seconds only?
I bought a Nikon camera. I used it many times, I recorded videos many times, but now when I press the REC button, it starts recording and stops automatically when 5 seconds have passed! After that, a text on the screen appears saying: "This card can't be read"
Must be something wrong with the memory card, I would call the manufacturer
I'd try to insert another memory card. If it works with another card, then you should change the card, if not then the camera has a problem and you should bring it back to the seller or somebody to repair it.
Probably because you have corrupted the card or the card is full, you have to format the card in the device your going to use it in, never on a computer or other device.
Recording and deleting, recording and deleting is a sure fire way to corrupt any card.
The only truly safe way is format the card in camera.
Take your pics or video.
Download to your computer
Then format the card in camera, and start over.
You may be still able to read any images or video on the card with rescue software.
