Why is my Nikon's charge light flashing rapidly when i try to charge it?

Ayla
When I try to charge my Nikon P510, it's charge light is flashing rapidly, not slow like the manual said. I'm kind of worried something is wrong with it. I got it over the summer in June. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do? I'd really appreciate it.

Either you have it in wrong
or you need a new battery

Contact Nikon and explain the problem to them. Your camera and it's entire system should be covered under the manufacturers warranty.
