Why is my Nikon D3300 producing all black photos when my flash is closed?

Rofl you mean your shutter? Because when you close that it covers your lens and a picture of the shutter would be all black. I know the shutter is involved in a flash, maybe if yours is broken that has something to do with it
Probably because your settings are too dark (aperture is high and shutter speed is fast).
Try taking some pictures in "AUTO" mode and if that works it means you need to learn how to use your camera. A DSLR is NOT a point and shoot, it requires that you learn how the different elements come together to create a picture. Here there could be two reasons:
1) Your shutter speed is too fast and not enough light is getting in
2) Your aperture is too small (high f number) and not enough light is getting
Because the imaging chip is not getting enough light to produce an image. Could be lots of reasons why this is the case (shutter speed too fast for the available light, aperture too small for the available light), but the bottom line is not enough light.
Check on your aperture, shutter speed and ISO.
This components make your exposure low. Be sure to check your exposure level and make sure it is not in -3.0 or less.
