Why CCD's are not used in professional cameras?

I have a simple question in my mind that big companies like Canon, Nikons don't use CCD instead of CMOS in their professional cameras, when CCD's are more advantageous than CMOS?

Cost. The cost of producing large CCD's is much higher than making CMOS sensors.

You will still see CCD sensors on professional quality video cameras like Panasonic's pro line. Those cameras use three CCD's one for each colour, red, blue and green

NOTE: The realistic increase in costs of making CCD sensors for cropped frame and full frame cameras would raise the cost of camera by as much as 15% to 20%. When you consider that a pro camera can cost over $6, 000 for a body, that could force photographers to hold on to their old cameras longer or drop down to a cropped frame dSLR system

EDIT: When I bought my first dSLR, it was a NIkon D100, had a 6 mp CCD sensor and it cost $2, 000

When the D200 was announced it had a CMOS sensor and cost $1, 700

Good charge coupled device cost more per pixel.
Curiosity rover on mars doesn't have any cmos sensors on board for good reason.
Marketing has little influence in that regard.
