Which SLR camera is best for me?

I wanna buy a new SLR under 20, 000/- for photography so does anyone suggest me which is best for me? Actually I'm confused about to buy Nikon or Canon. So please share how's your guidance to prefer best buy SLR camera.

You need to raise the bar

28 to 29k gets you the Nikon D3100, the Canon EOS 1100D for a little less
but for 20k you will struggle to locate a Canon EOD 1000D
18-55mm kit lens included

You will also need a spare battery and a spare memory card

If you want an SLR camera (shoots film) there's plenty around for about $150 US by Canon and other makers.

If it's a digital camera you want, that's a DSLR, They start at $550US - since I don't know what currency your using, you can do the conversion.

I only recommend what I own and know - Canon.

Give first preference to Sony and then to Nikon. Canon is not reliable.
