Which one to buy: Macbook Air or Canon G7X?

I own a MPro 15" and a Nikon D5200 but they are too heavy for me when traveling. So right now I'm planning to buy either a portable laptop or a portable camera. I can't decide which one to buy. Help? And if you could, please include your reason. Thank you!

Do you really need to edit on the go?

Just buy more memory cards. Edit when you get home. Get the G7x or similar if you want a small compact camera.

Buy a laptop and shoot with your phone.
