Which is the slowest Frame size/frame rate?
I have Nikon D5200. I'm trying to make a slow motion video. When I go to the movie settings, I find these 5 options there but I don't know which one is the slowest and will be good for a slow motion video.
1) 1920x1080; 60i
2) 1920x1080; 30p
3) 1920x1080; 24p
4) 1280x720; 60p
5) 640x 424; 30p
Your question is confusing.
If you want to make a slow motion video, you certainly don't want to use the slowest frame rate.
I find myself again recommending that you at least look through the manual. If you had even a very basic or elementary understanding of video, you would know that your question is self evident.
If you use a slow frame rate, the image will play back faster, not in slow motion.
To take video in in slow motion you need a higher frame rate, so that when you play it back at normal speed, the action appears to be slowed down.
Higher resolution = lowest frame rate.
I often use 1280 but I think the 1920 ones may look better (but will be slower). X
If I really need to shoot slow motion, I dig out my Nikon 1 V2 and shoot at frame rates from 240 fps to 1200 fps.
dSLR cameras are NOT video cameras, but only still cameras with a video "feature"
