How to change the frame rate on my Nikon 1 J1?

I have the Nikon 1 j1 camera, i like it a lot so please don't tell me its a stupid camera because i really like it.anyways on my camera under the menu options for slow motion video there's is a section called frame rate that is at 400fps, but it is fogged and i can't actually change it. When i press the ok button on it it says it can't be changed under these certain settings. I know that there are higher frame rates on it because iv seen them online. Can anyone tell me what settings have to be on or off to change it. I like using the slow motion but if i can get the frame rate higher that would be great, thanks!

You need to check the manual. In many cases having the camera in, for example, full auto mode, will restrict the number of settings you can change.
You may have activated some feature that is not compatible with changing frame rate.

If all else fails do a full factory reset.
