What's A Really Good Camera with Soft Focus?
I'm looking for a digital camera that resembles a SLR in appearance but has a soft focus effect, Preferably a Canon or Nikon, But any ideas accepted, Thanks
Why do you want soft focus? It's actually not supposed to happen and its blurry. If you really want it, I'd recommend getting a regular camera and creating the effect by editing it. Just searching for a camera that has the soft focus effect built into it will terribly narrow your possible choices down.
The easiest thing to do will be to buy any camera you want and do the soft focus effect in whatever photo editing software you are using. Photoshop is the excellent, but it's expensive. Paint shop pro is very good too, but costs a lot less.
DSLR cameras come in three grades:
entry level (consumer) $500 to $1, 000
Semi-professional $1, 000 to $3, 000
Professional $4, 000 to $45, 000+ (Body only)
Both Canon and Nikon make nice cameras. I can recommend two entry level Digital SLR Cameras to you.
1.Canon EOS Rebel T3 Digital SLR Camera
For the small price, Canon EOS Rebel T3 camera really packs a big punch. This camera is great for the beginner photographer, and even for the more advanced photographer. It's a breeze to learn how to work all of its functions and most importantly, it delivers such amazing quality photos. The kit comes with 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 image stabilization lens. The Rebel's APS-C sensor is good enough for good quality images. The user-interface is very beginner friendly and easy to navigate. The screen on the back is nice.
2.Nikon D3100 Digital SLR Camera
D3100 is better than T3. But it is more expensive than Rebel T3.
Advantages of D3100 are:
1. Higher Movie resolution - 1080p vs. 720 p (T3)
2. Lower Noise at high ISO
3. Has cleaning sensor (not in T3) which is important features
4. Large Sensor
5. More focus point - 11 vs. 9 in T3
6. Better colour depth
7. Large LCD screen
