None

The only third party lens I can recommend for Nikon cameras are those made by Tokina

Spending over $2, 000 for a D600 and then going cheap on the lenses you buy doesn't stand to reason.

The D600 has a very high resolution sensor, so any flaws in a third party lens will show up big time

You're FAR better off buying a cheaper camera and investing in better lenses, for two reasons. First, better image quality. Second, notice how digital cameras, like all electronics, become obsolete and lose their value in a couple of years? This doesn't really happen with top quality lenses.

I'd go for Nikon lenses first. As Fotoace mentions, any detrimental aspects of a lens's image quality are very apparent on a full frame, and Sigma lenses are very hit and miss in that department. Some are very good. Others, no.

However, I can recommend two sigma lenses for a full frame, as I've used them myself on mine.

Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG macro - This is NOT the most current HSM version Sigma offers. This lens came out in the early 2000's, and has been discontinued, but it's a great lens in the Sigma line up. I used this one before moving to the Canon version. Image quality is at par with Canon's first generation 24-70L lens, and actually has less CA fringing. Focus is noisier and slower, but accurate on my copy. Built quite solidly. If you can find it used in good condition, it's worth it.

Sigma 70mm f2.8 EX DG Macro - Mind-blowing sharpness and contrast on a full frame corner to corner. Sharper than Canon's 100mm L macro even. Built very well like all Sigma EX lenses, does not have internal focus and the focus is slow, but that's not an issue on macros.

If you choose sigma lenses, always test them out before throwing the packaging away. Do test shots for accurate focus and view images at 100 percent to ensure the lens isn't de-centered. Sigma's quality control is not as good as Nikon. Sometimes you get bad copies.
