What professional camera can i buy?

I want to start a hobby of photograph so i need a professional or semi-professional camera, i need it 16 mega pix ( no need for more and don't want less ) with HD movie ( really important since i have AV class) and the ability to focus on really small objects… I need it to be less than 1000$ since i'm paying for it ( i'm a teenager) and of course flash, stabilizer and the basics… Which camera do you think is best? I have 2 brands in mind canon and nikon but which one of there 100000000000 cameras is the one for me?

Why do you think you need 16mp? Are you planning to make prints the size of a wall?
If you want to focus on small objects you will need to buy a macro lens. Unfortunately, a DSLR that shoots HD video plus a macro lens is out of your price range.

You may want to do some more research.
12 mp is plenty on any dSLR

HD video (NOT movie) only uses 1 mp of the pixels on a sensor and Full HD only 2 mp.
For under $1, 000 look at the Nikon D5100 and Canon T3i/600D
Here is how their sensors compare performance wise, since you are concerned about image quality

A macro lens like the Nikkor 85 mm f/3.5 pushes the cost of your system beyond $1, 000, so you may have to use diopters on the front of the 18-55 mm lens to shoot small objects for a while.
Any image stabilization you may think you need will be in the lenses you buy or by using a tripod.
Just a note. Professional dSLR's cost from $5, 000 to about $40, 000. The entry level cameras listed above will do what you need at a cost that fits your budget

If you are unable to afford a nice macro lens, try out the Japanese-made Marumi brand of close-up filters [diopters], but be sure you get the ACHROMAT type.
Also the Canon 250D and Canon 500D.
There are also some vintage Nikon close-up filters that are excellent.

Wow… Then stunned silence when i first saw the images from Canon EOS Rebel T3i Camera. I'm a first time SLR user and this is a major upgrade from my point and shoot. Even as i learn about the more advance features of this camera, the basic options enable me capture the most precious moments without blotching them. 2nd day of usage and i would be sure to update this review once shortly. Amazon thanks for excellent packaging, Canon for a great product you have a buyer for life.
