Reading a ebook by Christopher O'Donnell, on bokeh photography he use a 24mm f/1.4 lens, What lens would this be on my D5200 nikon

It would be a 24mm f/1.4 lens on your D5200.
It would be the "equivalent" of a 36mm f/1.4 lens, though, on your D5200.

The crop factor of your sensor (D5200) is about 1.5-1.6
So a 18mm lens would give you the same field of view as a 24mm on full frame sensor.
If that is what you are asking.
