What lens combination for a nikon 5100d?

I was looking for a macro lens that would work for the nikon 5100d. Also a good all around lens to do it all Example: Taking a picture of a birds nest 20 feet away or a bucket 3 fet away. Budget is $200 for each lens.

For your budget, I would suggest the Nikkor 18-105mm lens and Zeikos AF Digital Macro Extension Tube Set.

Something I've gotten a lot of fun out of is one of those cheap, $150 500mm F8 telephoto lens you find on ebay. Sure, they are no Nikon or Canon and don't have anywhere near the quality of those, but they aren't bad for the money. They don't cost an arm and a leg either. You must operate them manually, meaning you have to focus by hand and adjust the aperture, shutter speed and ISO manually. I used manual film cameras for over 30 years, so that's no problem for me. I use mine on a Nikon D40 and I've taken photos of the moon, cropped and enlarged them to 8X10 size and you can clearly see the rough edges of the craters on the horizon. With your pixel count you should get better quality. You need to know how to steady yourself if you're shooting freehand or find the nearest post or tree unless you're in bright light. Like I said, I'm sure the photo quality isn't anywhere close to a Nikon, but I figure getting so-so quality photos is better than getting nothing at all because I can't afford a top of the line lens.
