What kind of scope is this? (check link)?
I have always wanted a rifle scope like it, but the only ones I can find like it are either tactical ar scopes or handgun scopes. Burris, nikon, and millet produce ones like it, but again, they're all tactical and shorter than the one pictured. Any info on this scope or one very similar would be great.
I like the scope and I mostly like that bolt handle the way it bends out. I would take the scope and bolt handle and put them on my mauser and sell that rifle.
Looks like a Weaver K2.5 or K3.
I agree with Tex. That looks an awful lot like a Weaver.
I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. That's a very run of the mill design on a forward mount because its on a mosin.
It would look good on a slug gun, and looks OK on the Mosin in my opinion.
You might check out the reproduction PU and PE 'scopes, though, if you want something that looks more "at home" on a Mosin. I've now had a chance to look through the PU repros, and the image does appear better than the original, as would be expected.
