What is the limit of flash firing voltage in Nikon DSLRs?
What is the limit of flash firing voltage in Nikon DSLRs? In old FMII type cameras, we used to use flashes with triggering voltage even as high as 250V. But DSLRs do not allow that. What is the safe limit for Nikon DSLRs? At some places I find it as 6V and in some other places it is written as 12V.
I would call Nikon and ask.
The only trigger voltage limits I know about are with Canon dSLR cameras and that voltage is 6v.
It depends on the camera… What camera are you using, and are you talking about hotshoe or studio PC sync.socket?
