What is the difference between a Nikon's Cameras FPS and a Canon Camcorders FPS?
I need a good Camcorder, but I also need a good camera, it seems people get Nikon's for videos also, but the FPS seems so low? Any suggestions?
It entirely depends on the model of camera/camcorder, not the brand.
A camcorder is designed to shoot video, so they often have better video-related features.
Those cameras that can shoot video are just still cameras with extra functions, and obviously shoot better pictures. However, certain lenses designed for still cameras may offer better quality than the default (or built-in) lens on many camcorders.
The choice of frame rate is for style. 60fps video looks incredibly lifelike (especially compared to old TVs). Meanwhile, film veterans prefer the look of 24fps, which is the standard frame rate for motion pictures.
Check each model's specifications to get the exact difference. It doesn't depend on the brand.
